Tinashe debuted the alluring new song “Company” with a ‘Cabaret’-inspired performance on MTV’s ‘Wonderland.’
Tinashe performed her new single "Company" with a sultry, Cabaret-inspired performance on MTV's new music showcase series Wonderland. The track is the latest single from the R&B singer and dancer's new album Joyride.
During the performance, Tinashe's dancers enacted sleek, feline movements while wearing mostly black, giving the production a classic touch. The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, the songwriting duo behind Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put A Ring on It)" and Rihanna's "Umbrella," produced the track. Tinashe originally premiered a recording of "Company" at fashion website Refinery29's "29 Rooms" event this month in the Silent Disco room in New York City.
Joyride is the anticipated follow-up to Tinashe's 2014 debut Aquarius, released this fall by RCA Records. She recently debuted the bubbly new single "Superlove" and its Baywatch-inspired music video. Her new LP will feature production work from the likes of Boi-1da, Metro Bommin, Sir Nolan and PartyNextDoor.
