Neil Young has recorded a new album with Promise of the Real Michael Putland/Getty

Earlier this week, we spoke with Neil Young about his upcoming album that he recorded with Promise of the Real. “I feel really good and amped and energized,” he said. “And I feel like I’m doing something that I’ve never done before. It’s not just music. It’s a soundscape. It’s kind of like flying around listening to things with your eyes closed.”

Now we have a question for you: What is the best song that Neil Young released after the 1970s? That basically means everything to come out after Rust Never Sleeps counts. Feel free to vote for a big hit like “Rockin’ in the Free World” or “Harvest Moon,” a fan-favorite such as “Razor Love” and “Be the Rain” or an obscurity like “Goin’ Home,” “Southern Pacific” and “It’s a Dream.” He’s worked at a feverish pace over the past 36 years, so there’s no shortage of material from which to draw. Please only vote once and only for a single song.
