Wiley's certainly been on his press grind lately. The reclusive and elusive grime star doesn't do a huge number of interviews so this current run is certainly intriguing. One thing we've gleaned from these junkets is that Wiley has sights set on a biography (or possibly autobiography) with a view to then making a film of the book. Obviously, this is absolutely massive and something every grime fan will be salivating over, but today we got some more details.
In a recent interview with Unilad, the godfather of grime confirmed once more that he is very serious about that happening. Then, when asked about Dizzee Rascal, he firstly restated his position that he is very keen to extend an olive branch and revive their creative relationship and personal friendship. He then elaborated on the contents of the book/film, saying: “Crazy Titch is in my film. Durrty Goodz is in my film. Dizzee's in my film. I can't lie, and I wouldn't lie about their character either. I would show their character in the correct light.”
