Reunited and it feels so good. After squashing their beef at the 2016 Coachella Music Festival back in April, YG and DJ Mustard made their reunion official at the private candlelit “Allies Dinner” party in Los Angeles on Thursday night (Sept. 15).

According to Billboard, the star-studded event brought out music celebrities such as singer-songwriter Sevyn Streeter and Nick Cannon as they dined on plates of pan fried salmon and kung pao chicken.

“This ‘Allies Dinner’ was about me and YG coming together and bringing our labels together,” said Mustard.

Speaking of labels, YG and DJ Mustard also shared announcements of new acts they have signed to their respective labels. Mustard has launched his 10 Summers imprint with his flagship artist being British singer Ella Mae.

“[She’s a] great artist,” he beamed. “Super talented. Super hungry. Super everything. She’s a superstar.”

Meanwhile, YG has secured two major acts for his label 4Hunnid Records. Fellow Compton rhymer Slim 400 and Sad Boy, a Mexican-American rapper who YG says, “really represents for his people [and] his culture.”

Together, YG and Mustard, have also announced that artist RJ is their joint signee. Mustard calls him a “superstar.” 4Hunnid Records President Brandon Moore says that their musical partnership will turn them into music moguls.

“For them to take it to the next level to open up the doors and create platforms for new artists is incredible,” he said. “This is just the beginning of a 20, 30-year run.”

We are glad that YG and DJ Mustard have reconcile and are now focusing on business instead of beefing. More rappers should follow suit. We’re just saying.
