Nothing is stronger than a mother’s love for their son. Rapper Young Buck’s mother, Audrey Horn, lost her bid for an order of protection against the prosecutor who put her son in jail.

Earlier this week, Young Buck (real name David Brown) was sentenced to seven months in jail for violating the terms of his probation following his arrest for threatening to burn down his girlfriend’s house.

During Wednesday’s hearing (Aug. 24), Buck’s mom accused Assistant U.S. Attorney Sunny Koshy of “using his power and influence to stalk and destroy my life and my family.” She said in court that she sought the court order out of anger over “set up charges,” reports The Tennessean.

General Sessions Judge Allegra Walker didn’t issue the protective order because she didn’t find Ms. Horn was in imminent danger. Plus, Koshy contends that he has never spoken to Young Buck’s mom in court or anywhere else.

In the end, Horn’s petition was dismissed because of inconsistencies in her allegations. “We consider this nothing more than an attempt to retaliate against a federal prosecutor who is simply trying to do his job,” said U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee David Rivera in a statement.

Audrey Horn left the courtroom with no comment on the matter.
