Yung Lean Concert Gets Canceled After Bomb Threat news

Yung Lean’s fans got dangerously bad news when a bomb threat led to a canceled show.

The Swedish rapper and producer was slated to take the stage in Minneapolis’ Fine Line Music Cafe on Sunday night (March 27). Unfortunately, an unknown culprit made the serious threat on social media and fans were forced to vacate the premises.

“Minneapolis. I don’t know more than you r.n. Will let you know when I have the info,” read an initial tweet by Lean when the possible threat was discovered.

The Minneapolis Police arrived at the scene to check whether the threat had merit; but reported “nothing suspicious located,” according to the MPD’s Twitter account. It seems Fine Line Cafe decided they’d rather be safe than sorry, however; canceling the concert. Lean went to Twitter to relay the disappointing news to his fans.

“I wanted to play the show but due to the circumstances it wont work,” he tweeted. “We good tho love to the fans,” he added in his following tweet.

Hopefully, fans will be able to get a second chance to see the up-and-comer. Lean has been making strides lately. Originally from Stockholm, he gained praise with the track “Ginseng String 2002″ from his 2013 mixtape, Unknown Death 2002. Since then, he’s released two LPs, 2014’s Unknown Memory  and 2016’s Warlord. The young artist is still scheduled to take the stage in Seattle, Vancouver and Portland this week. Hopefully, the show goes on.
